The safety of ε-polylysine hydrochloride is extremely high. Acute toxicology tests show that its LD50 value is 5g/kg, comparable to table salt. Importantly, after ingestion, it can be digested, absorbed, and broken down into lysine, an essential amino acid for the human body, without side effects.

Furthermore, ε-polylysine hydrochloride exhibits excellent synergistic effects. It can be used alone or in combination with other food additives (such as vinegar, ethanol, and glycine), significantly enhancing its bactericidal effects.

ε-polylysine hydrochloride also has health-promoting functions. Studies have shown that it can effectively inhibit enzyme activity and fat absorption, helping to reduce the occurrence of obesity.
